"This place is a dream! Our second stay and it wont be our last. This year we were here on our anniversary and when we walked into our room the bed had a rose rose pedals and a covered dish or macarons while balloons floated above it. How special that was?! The staff was amazing and very attentive. We loved Maxime and Matthew who took such good care of not just us but all their guests. A must stay 10 out of 10!"

"The hotel itself is an old French chateau and has the wow factor. The room we stayed in was also lovely. However, it isn’t without its problems. For us, we had booked a family room with 3 beds but the room we got only had 2 beds. When i raised this with the staff, there was no attempt at an explanation they just said all the other rooms were occupied. It wasnt the best customer service I’ve received. There were also a number of smaller things that add up to give the impression of a hotel that isn’t particularly well run. Shower gel and shampoo bottles were empty. Complimentary bottle of water with a bottle cap but no opener. Plug sockets that don’t work. Duvets untidily slung into the bottom of the wardrobe. Coffee machine located nowhere near a working plug socket. Essentially, when you get past the fantastic exterior, it’s just an average hotel. Possibly below average."
