"Squirrel Barn was fantastic, we were two couples so great to have two bathrooms. We had everything we needed and wished we were staying longer. So quiet too which was lovely. "

"We book this stay last minute as was let down with a rental property in the area. The town is located well for sightseeing around the beautiful Cotswolds, everything we wanted to see easily accessible. The landlord was so friendly and helpful. He advised us of little hidden gems to see. We ate dinner at the pub on one of the evenings, and the food was delicious. Pub has a great atmosphere, seems to be very popular locally. Car park at back super convenient, and lots of free parking nearby anyway. Always greeted by a smile from owner of staff, everyone so attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Excellent location in the heart of Stow. Fantastic staff, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room at back of courtyard behind the main tearoom. Clean, comfortable and quirky. My only criticism is the lack of noise insulation between the two rooms; we could hear everything from the room below, even just two people talking. Fantastic breakfast. I’d have given this 5 stars throughout had the room been adequately insulated."

"Quaint old stone cottage style building with lots of history, beautifully preserved and decorated. Very comfortable bedding, modern shower with push button control. Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "

"Staff was very helpful and told of the sights we shouldn’t miss. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Room was clean and fresh. "

"We had a delightful stay right in the heart of the Cotswolds. There was a small hiccup on arrival as we didn’t initially receive the check-in codes, but we were able to resolve it. If you’re travelling internationally, it’s worth having a phone available to call for urgent assistance just in case. Once checked in, we carried our bags upstairs, noting there is no lift, but it was manageable. The room itself was cosy and warm, perfect for the cooler evenings, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The private bathroom was also clean and pleasant. The instructions provided for the location and parking were very accurate. We parked safely overnight on Sheep Street close to the accommodation, then moved the car to the 72-hour car park near Tesco, which was about an 8-minute walk away. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay with clear guidance that made getting around easy."

"We were on a walking holiday, so this was a welcome stop. Although the room was small, it was well appointed, though the shower could have been cleaner. Unfortunately, a gas issue meant there was no hot dinner service. The manager did a great job of rustling up cold cuts, and we weren’t charged, which was appreciated. There was also no hot water in the morning, but the breakfast they were able to provide was still welcome."

"The only reason I am not rating excellent is the laundry machine is wash only. Worked out for me as I had time to air dry. The location is fantastic if you use the train. Easy in and out. Great stay."
