Hotel Playa Azul Cozumel

"The property is a bit dated and small compared to the larger hotels around it, but it is well maintained and very clean. The bathrooms really need an update. We had a room that opened onto the pool. View was excellent. Bar was nice but a bit expensive $10 for a cocktail $5 beer. Food was also $$ $10 for an order of guacamole and $12 for a quesadilla. There arent many restaurants around so you are reliant on Taxis which are $150 pesos to surrounding restaurants or ride to the ferry."

"The Presidente was arguably the BEST experience I’ve had at any hotel/resort. We will be back and can’t recommend it enough. I’d personally suggest getting a room that opens to the beach, it’s so nice being able to walk ten yards out your door and directly into the ocean!"

"Excellent location in Cozumel. Walkable to everything. Formerly the Suites Bahia, hotel has been completely redone. Room was beautiful, AC was cold, and bed was fantastic. Friendly staff and nice rooftop pool to lounge by or cool off. We will definitely be back."
