โJohn, the host, was very welcoming and gave us detailed information about Dover and recommended various places to eat. It was a perfect location, close to Dover Castle, the White Cliffs, and the city center. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.โ
โThis hotel was a little out of the way, so youโll have to use taxis for
Transport. They were very accommodating when we arrived early and they got us all checked in. The property was well maintained and the room was a nice size. The staff were helpful and managed all us cruise passengers even though there was a lot of us. I would stay here again. Dover is a beautiful town. โ
โVery walkable to area locations. Historically old but cleanest place I think I have ever stayed. Remember that many places don't have AC and this is one but fans in rooms with full length window open to balcony in our room. Narrow stairway to rooms if that means anything to anyone. Was fine for us. Breakfast was buffet style, tasty and we still had personal attention with refills, etc. Host made sure we had transportation to the cruise port.โ
โDoes the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.โ
โLovely little guest house. We stayed in the Kitten room. There was a fold out bed as well as the double and single, so we managed to squeeze four in. Ideal for a short stay and the restaurant staff were super helpful and friendly in helping us get settled. Breakfast was also amazing with a great view. โ
โMike was the best host. Very welcoming and called a taxi for me to get to my next destination. One of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. Would definitely recommendโ
โStaff were amazing about my disabled daughter and helped us no end. Lovely place, lovely people. Also, I left a T-shirt and the posted it back straight away ๐โ
