The staff at this location are simply amazing. We were traveling with a small dog and they went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming to my dog. Although the decor in the room is older and basic the standard of cleanliness was impressive and made me so comfortable. It’s such a shame the current economic climate seems to have caused the hotel to close during lunch time as the bar is so pleasant it would have been lovely to stay for a little while. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone and will definitely return. To stress, the friendliness and cleanliness are so impressive!

Civilisation in a rural setting
This was a very nice overnight stay. The room was very small with the bathroom in a cupboard, but it all worked. The staff were very pleasant. Parking was across the road, but you could use the space in front of the hotel to unload and repack the car. The meals were good.

Comfortable hotel near the lochs
The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable. Our thermostat was reading ‘error’ but there was a fan provided. The restaurant food was good with a large selection. There seemed to be a bit of tension between the serving staff with a bell going off over and over again (from the kitchen?). But our waitress who was there for dinner and then again for breakfast was very friendly. Great base for exploring the beautiful area.

Good location for an overnight stop off
Useful stop over place on way home from the western isles. It's a nice hotel but there were clearly staff shortages within the restaurant. We had to wait quite a while to get a table for an evening meal at arrival despite being told we didn't need to book ahead and then had to wait a really long time for our food to arrive. The staff were clearly doing their best but perhaps the offer of a free drink or discount would have been good to acknowledge things were pretty bad. And don't go near the kippers at breakfast, they were actually inedible.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Our room was on the roadside and we were woken at around 6am each morning by HGVs going past. Coupled with that the room was extremely hot but we didnt want to leave the window open due to the road noise. The food in the hotel was not what you would expect for the price.

Enjoyable
Great hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Even brought my dog a sausage at breakfast. Really nice gesture. Relaxing and enjoyable night away. Only gripe was shower was cold in the morning.

Lovely stopover
Stopped here before on trips up to the highlands lovely place nice hotel breakfast nice. Just one slight problem with the lift not working but not end of the world. Would recommend to anybody and the Rod and Reel pub just round the corner

Clean hotel but slightly dated. Old TV and no usb sockets in room. No sockets next to bed. Had pizza in the restaurant which was nice.

Comfortable stop on the West Highland Way. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful and the rest of the staff were very good too.
