“There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open.
It was too expensive as well for what we received. We weren’t even advised if breakfast until we asked about it and then she asked us what time did we want to book it for.
And they charge 10 pound for parking when it is free until 9am...
“Had a lovely romantic getaway. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym all literally 10 metres away from the room.
Also a great little games room with pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis and much more all free of charge, again opposite the room. Lots of friendly farm animals that you can visit as often as you wish, the hosts are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be returning.”
“The property was large, spacious, and generally clean, so overall our stay was not unpleasant. However, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We tried contacting reception on multiple occasions but were never able to get through, and the reception desk closes at 5pm, which further limited support when needed.
