“Hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and receptive. Their dogs (hypoallergic poodles) were the cutest to play with and well-behaved. The room itself (Library Room) is cozy and rustic with more than enough things we needed. Some items like toothpaste are lacking but I'm sure that if you ask the hosts, you'll be able to get one anyway. Overall, the experience was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! We had two homeless people drinking outside our room at the table and chairs out front which we told the front desk when morning cam one was passed out on the table. “Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets.
