"Our room was very spacious and was very clean. It is well maintained but keeps that old historical charm. The staff were all very nice and helpful. If you have the chance to take the ghost tour with Matt its well worth it. He is very knowledgeable about town history and very entertaining."

"I booked a wheelchair accessible room. The room was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable and accommodating for a wheelchair. The bed was a little too high (recommended height is 20-23 inches), but we made it work. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Offered us water and cookies at check-in and check-out. Chuck at the front desk was very helpful by fulfilling a request for a transfer shower chair. The chair was missing one of the rubber feet, which could be a safety hazard. I recommend replacing that particular shower chair. The food and staff at Wagers Sportsbook and Grill were both excellent! It would have been helpful if we were notified of breakfast and coffee options in the 2nd floor lobby. We did not know about it until the day of departure. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely stay again!"

"Chose this property for a 2nd time. We opt for a room on backside beside peaceful gentle rushing water. Room was nice sized and clean. Trolley stop nearby. The small but attached kitchen is nice for a quick meal. Casino is fairly small but attached."

"Had a great time staying at Galena during our time out west. Cabins were clean, owner communicates well, and cabins were in a great spot to access everything in the area with a short drive to get there. The owners greeted us while sitting outside the first morning we were there, and gave us great recommendations for places to visit while we were there."

"Much better than a hotel. Quiet, peaceful & safe. The outside lights were good. The staff was nice & helpful. It was no trouble to get extra washcloths & coffee filters. We stayed in the economy double unit 21 but there most units around us were empty. Our location was up on a hill overlooking peaceful land & we also had grassy outdoor space right outside our door . There were wild geese & deer running around at times. We had the end unit of a fourplex. The neighbor said that unit 12 inside unit, with porch with table & chairs & BBQ had a kitchen, which we did not need. We were told we could use the outdoor table & chairs from the unit next door since it was empty. The bed was comfortable & the bedspread was cute & functional..the linens were good. The towels were fluffy & soft. The room had a small nice refrigerator, microwave & 4 cup coffee maker. The room was a good size. It had a square table & 2 chairs, a desk & chair & a long dresser with tv on it. The furniture was in decent condition. The room was clean with the shower, toilet & sink in good repair. Outside of the bathroom was a vanity area around the sink & hanging closet area that was nice. The interior walls & flooring were in good condition. We stayed 5 nights & prefered it over a hotel room. If we ever came back to the area we would not hesitate to come here. It's not luxury but it fit with what we needed. CON- WiFi is not very good. Outside picnic table & door could have used a good paint job."
