The location was perfect for exploring Deadwood by foot. Easy check in, parking was convenient and very necessary since we were there so close to the Sturgis rally. Wish we had more time to explore honestly!

The location was right on the historic downtown which allowed us to shop and eat by walking everywhere. We loved the comfortable bed and the pillows were awesome. My only negative was the pancake machine was out of order. We would definitely stay there again!

Room was cozy, and fairly well kept. Casino/gambling was pretty fun/entertaining. Only complaint we had on the whole trip was the Maverick Steakhouse that was associated with the hotel left alot to be desired. Food was super bland, but the wait staff was super helpful.

The only thing good was the location to everything on main st. The staff when we checked it was horrible. Not friendly and even rude. They will allow pets but no place to bathroom your pets. The room had barely enough room to walk around the queen bed. The window opened into a stair well. Don’t stay in room #113. Right next to vending and ice machine. People using it at all hours.

This property was wonderful. Great proximity to everything. The room was clean, the staff was good, and the continental breakfast was a great way to start the morning. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, I would highly recommend the Gold Dust.

Came out to Deadwood for Black Hills Motorcycle show & a weekend getaway. The Gold Dust was clean, comfortable & quiet. Everything is within easy walking distance and they provide free parking. Would stay there again

This is a great walkable location for a visit to Deadwood. Price was good. The clerk was rude. I asked for in room regular coffee and was told I couldnt have any because they had to give it to the people checking in that day I checked in the day before. The same clerk would not accommodate an upgrade - I understand that hotels cannot always give upgrades - but an explanation would have been nice. All I got was a response that this hotel does not do that He also told me to look at where his finger was pointing when I could not immediately find the outgoing mail box ' LOOK AT MY FINGER! ' What kind of customer service is that!?

Check in was easy. You can park in front for 20 minutes which allows you time to check in and unload some luggage before parking. This is helpful since parking is across the street. Room was clean and as advertised. Bathroom was good, lots of hotwater! Breakfast was excellent!

The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was nice and clean although the bathroom shower had some funky red stuff around the shower base. The breakfast would have been better with fresh fruit and hot options other than pancakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
