“Nice hotel”

“Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!”

“The property is really run down and in need of updating. The staff tried to overcome the obstacles they are stuck with in regards to the hotel condition. Check in is at 3pm, we arrived at 7:30 and our room had not been cleaned yet and we had to wait an additional hour before we could get in. The key card lock on our door would not work and we had to have the front desk let us in 3 separate times. The show was never hot and was luke warm at best, the fsucet on the sink did not have cold water...

“The staff was extremely accommodating. I learned Deadwood is not a very handicap accessible place but the hotel was except for the casino across the street. I would have to go outdoors to go to the next levels of the casino which to be fair. This is a historic town so I get that they don't want to alter it very much and the parking was across the street and you had to go around the parking lot and they don't like to shovel the sidewalks and Deadwood sidewalks are very icy which does happen in...

“Cute place. Clean”

“I recently stayed at the Bullock Hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of history, which is one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. If you love historic places with character, this is definitely the place for you. The atmosphere really makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, and the stories about it being haunted add to the experience. “Best place in Deadwood for family trips! Great staff! Clean ! Great breakfast! Very accommodating and everyone from the sweets at the front desk to the owner who is on site and taking care of things, are so nice! We will make this our “ go to” for all of our Deadwood vacations ”

“The room and staff were great. We had my dad with us and he is in a w/c. Parking for handicapped across the street you had to pay $15 a night and the handicapped parking was quite aways away. We didn’t know we had to pay for parking as that was new. Then the next day we found out we could have parked on the street for free since we needed handicapped parking. No one told us that when we checked in.”

I received text messages asking how my stay was going if I needed help with anything message back. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend to friends and family.”
