“Dirty, dirty, dirty, and not in a good way. Carpet along the edge looks like it was cleaned immediately after construction last time. Hair in the sink, hair in the shower, toilet was unimpressive, and grime on the floor of the shower. I’m pretty sure my grandmother would not be impressed.”

“The location was ideal. The accomodations were out dated and a little run down. The rooms were very old and the TV didn't work.(Cable/internet didn't work well) The staff was super friendly and helpful. The parking was a little sketchy...The breakfast was okay. Again, the location was prime. So that was worth the other inconveniences. Everything was walking distance. The driving to any location was very miniscule. No more than 10 minutes from anywhere we needed to be.”

“Everything was great. Person checking me was smiling. Ordered food at their in house lounge. Cuban sandwich was excellent. Slept well. Was quiet. They have an onsite bar if you want a beer or other drink and a casino. Great experience.”

“Location has forgiven this motel of its shortcomings. It is conveniently located for those visiting Mt Rushmore. We were placed in an ADA room since it was all that was available. The room was very stark, no pictures, walls were dark. A very noisy, very dirty portable air conditioner was in the window positioned so it blew on to the bed. There was no visible way to adjust the air flow to another direction. It cycled on and off making it difficult to sleep. The bed itself was very soft, however...

“The location was great... easy to get to many spots in the Black Hill region. We were able to walk to the handful of restaurants in Hill City which was nice. The hotel hit all the needs.. clean rooms, the fridge, microwave was super helpful. Quick Note if you do not like a super tourist city Hill City was the place to be... We were so happy we landed her vs. Keystone which in our opinion was a tourist trap. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast... nothing amazing but solid normal...
