โNice room. We had booked a mountain view and balcony which would have been excellent had the weather not been cold and misty (but the hotel cannot control the weather!). The view was of Mt Rushmore and we did get a glimpse of a profile of one of the Presidents.
We had dinner at the Bar and really enjoyed the Chicken Club Sandwich and Pulled Pork Sandwich.โ
โThe service here was top-notch! The staff truly treat you like family! The owners and several other staff live on property so there is always someone there to answer a call. The game room was great! The indoor pool was a bit dated, and was closed during thunderstorms, but was still great when we got to use it! Complimentary breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again! The location is great, too!โ
โSituated in the heart of downtown, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Mount Rushmore, this location offers a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of shops, thrilling zip lines, and exciting water slides nearby. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the on-site pool, which features a deep end reaching 5 feet, providing plenty of space for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether you're looking for adventure or a leisurely day by the water, this spot has it all right at your fingertips.โ
โWe stayed in the lodge/motel for two nights, which was a convenient location to Mount Rushmore. We also had dinner at the Powder House Lodge Restaurant and the food and service were great. The place had zero available tables and people waiting, so go early. โ
โThey reached out to us to make sure we had all our info for our very late self check in. The place was nice clean and SO quiet. We were in heaven, and sad we had to head out so early then next morning. We will for sure stay here when we come back! Thank you! โ
โMy favorite places to stay in the Southern/Central Hills. The cabins are cozy, quiet, and always clean. This time I brought my side by side, and parked my trailer down below. Never worried about its safety. โ
