Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. El Peñol Rock is within walking distance—just be cautious of traffic along the road. Once there, you can access the site via the staircase entrance. We were able to run from the hotel to the rock a couple of times with no issues. If you’re driving, the hotel offers plenty of parking. Guatapé is about 4 kilometers away, or roughly a 5-minute drive.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly kind — truly the best part of the stay. Everything was very clean and the service overall was excellent. That said, the room itself was extremely small and uncomfortable for three people, and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. The food at the restaurant was good, but the breakfast buffet was a big disappointment. The food wasn’t hot, the setup didn’t seem to have the proper equipment for a real buffet, and even though the flavors were good, cold eggs and soggy arepas are definitely a no for me. Great staff, great service, but the hotel setup and buffet need improvement.

The rooms look a lot different than the photos, they look aged and not very comfortable. The location is not ideal since you still have to take transportation to go to El Peñol or the main town. Breakfast is below average, and the staff is just fine.

The breakfast are good during the week and on the weekend, they step it up and are even better. They had eggs mixed with ham, two different kinds of arepas fresh fruit and couple of juices to choose from. The rooms were clean and comportable. The pool area is nice with covered areas to be out of the sun, main pool water is a bit cool.
