Fairmont is lovely. Downside for us is the kitchen closed at 10pm and theres not anything super close to eat right outside the hotel. Also not free wifi.

Nice clean hotel but the valet service is so unorganized. Limited parking around the hotel, forces you to valet. It took over an hour to get our car out. The hotel did credit the $50 valet fee back but we were late to our event. Need a restructuring and smoother valet service.

I stayed here for a staycation and it was fine but the hotel felt old and dated. Room service food was delicious! Just felt like the whole hotel could use a remodel to be a bit nicer.

Stayed for 2 nights, booked a double use room (for 2 pax), only got one bathrobe and no slippers, had to call to get them since the front desk is almost always crowded. No free wifi at the hotel, paid for daily use and breakfast for two days since there was a misunderstanding at the check-in about breakfast being included. Nonetheless, the amount taken from our card in the end didn’t match the price of these services. Breakfast staff were super nice though, was happy to tip. Also, when checking out the receptionist wasn’t very polite or considerate, explaining that the system was slow even though I said my Uber was waiting for me for a while in front. Overall, you can tell that it was built as a luxury property but got run down over time, it needs a renovation and some staff training on hospitality.

Great location...a short walk to the art museums, and easy access to Whole Foods and many restaurants via the M-Line Trolley. We appreciated the small complementary refrigerator (upon request) and the adjustments made by the on-site restaurant to suit our dietary needs. We would have preferred a walk-in shower rather than the tub/shower combination though.

The rooms for dimly lit; we were given the incorrect Room upon check in should’ve been a king suite we were given a queen suite, and had to request to change. we did not get housekeeping on one of the days after we were gone all day and had to request the room to be cleaned. The pool area looked forlorn and unkept. Restaurant needs more food selections. On a better note, Philip the concierge was outstanding. This is the worst Fairmont I’ve ever stayed in, and I have visited properties and Arizona and Washington DC to mention a few. Improvements needed.! I expect better!

This hotel is past its prime. It’s old, has a musty smell, and has signs of wear everywhere. From chunks of fabric missing from the bar stools in the lobby bar to the dingy smell of the room, I really questioned if I was actually in a Fairmont. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t spend more than $130 a night here.

Beautiful Old Hotel with nice big rooms. Conveniently located in downtown Dallas and walkable to many things downtown.
