โLovely pub in great setting with clean rooms. Lovely to sit in garden and have a drink. Did not eat an evening meal so canโt comment on food then but breakfast was lovely. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would stay againโ
โThe location of abbey lodge was great, only a few minutes walk into town. Handy for restaurants and shopping. It was a short drive to get to the rural areas which we enjoyed walking. We booked a twin room which was much bigger than the doubles we saw.

โLovely country house hotel set in the Thames valley and overlooking the river Thames from the surrounding hills. Nice walks around the gardens. Excellent food in the restaurant and a great full English breakfast. Room was well presented with large bathroom, shower over bath. We had a room with a separate sitting area which had great views out over the valley and river. Wi-Fi, etc worked well, two TVโs one in each room. Did not use the large pool or Spa.โ
โVery nice hotel within walking distance to the station and shops. Room was on the small side but comfortable bed and very clean and quiet. Staff were all helpful and very polite. Would definitely stay here again if I needed a hotel for a night.โ

Lots of do in the area short walk to town lots of pubs bars restaurants spoilt for choice and lots of lovely shops in the area.
