“This was a good affordable launch place to explore Whidbey Island. The room had some quirks with how the electric outlets, bathroom and TV were set up. But staff was very friendly. There is an off-property restaurant immediately to the south that was a nice amenity that you can walk to.”

“The backyard garden and the view of the sea are the showstoppers here. We were in Washington for three weeks and this was the best view of the islands we had. The Inn is conveniently located near Deception Pass which offers more breathtaking scenery and some great hikes. The breakfast was as impeccable as the garden. There is such an attention to detail here. We simply did not want to leave.”

The Ship Harbor Inn has jaw-dropping views of the ferry landing with its gorgeous backdrop of islands amid the waters, a preview of the beauty of this beautiful cluster of islands called the San Juans. I was fortunate to be there during a period of ideal weather. I noted that this motel is clean and replete with benches and tables where you can sit to enjoy the views....

“The room was spacious, and I appreciated having 2 lounge chairs and 2 chairs at the little table so both my partner and I could have a seat! The fireplace is a special nice touch. Bed very comfortable! I wish the breakfast had a bit more variety. I am not a porridge fan!”

“the room was clean but dated as was the entire property, the poor cleaning girl had to call the owner to check in people ( she was not computer savvy ) we felt bad for her she really did her best - the is NO A/C in the rooms just a big old fan thankfully we had a big window that we could leave open ( we were on the 2nd floor, window facing the street ) otherwise I would not feel comfortable leaving it open in the area ... but it was 90 degrees in Anacortes that day ... no early check in at all,...

“Staff were great after check in. Tried to check in early to no avail. Small comfortable room with nice tiny outdoor area, Two huge chairs are much too big for the room and are useless. The blinds need upgrading. Bathroom is fine// appreciated the dimmer light in toilet area. Breakfast was very good! Real cups and plates appreciated! Food selection good.”

“The Orca Inn is your budget in if you just want access to the island. The rooms are small and mine seemed to get very hot despite not having the heater on waking me in my sleep. The good thing is that because the rooms are small the AC works fast. The parking lots lights shine through the window and the blinds don't do a great job at keeping that light out. Once the sun comes up it is unbearably hot inside.The host was welcoming and it is conveniently located.”

“Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time, but there were a few notable issues worth mentioning. The biggest concern was the cleanliness of the floors. They appeared to have been vacuumed, but they definitely had not been mopped. Our white socks turned dark brown after walking around the room, which was disappointing. The toilet paper holder was broken when we arrived, although maintenance came and repaired it promptly, which we appreciated. We were also looking forward to using the...

“Nantucket Inn has moved right to the top of our favorite bed and breakfast stays. Check-in was easy and cordial, and we received some excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was one of the smaller (the smallest?) at the inn, but perfectly adequate for two, and perfectly clean. We had fresh cookies waiting for us on the nightstand. After a quiet, restful night, we enjoyed our best BnB breakfast ever, prepared by the owner/host Jessica, in a lovely communal setting. We wholeheartedly...
