Es imposible describir con palabras cรณmo nos ha tratado la familia del Crown Hotel. Fueron sรบper atentos en todo momento, serviciales, amables y detallistas. De hecho, tanto mi pareja como yo nos enfermamos por algo que comimos fuera del hotel, y ellos nos cuidaron con una dedicaciรณn y atenciรณn que parecรญa que nos estaba cuidando nuestra familia. โNice location. But hotel is not easy to find. Wish it had a sign at front entrance. The bathroom is small, the water after showering will not go away.โ
โWe loved this meticulously restored to its 1800s splendor--think Haussmann Parisian high ceilings and large French windows--with exquisite Egyptian antiques yet all modern conveniences (en suite bathrooms, air conditioning etc). Atmosphere is completed by being met each morning by elderly woman maitre d' in flawless French. High on 5th floor down a pedestrianized side street, no Cairo traffic noise to disturb you.

It is the perfect location if youโd like to walk around.

The room we stayed in was fully renovated and the street noise was barely noticeable. Youโd be pretty much in downtown, we walked to the Egyptian museum, took the subway and walk around without any issues. Breakfast is delicious. It features a bar and the restaurant is small but very comfortable. Highly recommend it!โ
โThis is a clean, friendly, convenient place that's small but fantastic. GREAT value for the space and services. The staff members are young, friendly, and fluent in English. American University and downtown (Nile and many sightseeing attractions) nearby. Breakfast is made-to-order, not an impersonal "continental" layout. Lots of shopping, nightlife, and Metro within walking distance. The only caveat I would offer is that the tile of the floor of the shower is very slippery. I pointed this out...
