No Wi-Fi connection in room. 3 night stay, didn’t get much sleep. Poor installation, could hear everything in adjacent rooms. Packed up in the middle of the 3rd night and drove home.

More like YUCK Hotel. Many of the features described were not represented. We had a hard time sleeping with the people living across the street blasting music, no wifi, and pretty much no amenities (hair dryer, cups, soap) or communication. We still have not heard back from the Apek Rentals regarding wifi or refund. We agree with the other reviews and guests staying when we did. The whole experience was creepy and weird.

Beware: Not as Advertised

The Yucca Hotel was advertised as a bed and breakfast, with a glowing review in Oct 2023 referencing this. Unfortunately this was far from the truth regarding the hotel now. The hotel is oddly situated in a neighborhood. There were no cars present in the parking spots for the hotel upon our arrival; it felt like a ghost town. From the information we received, we expected to be able to check-in “in-person,” but there was no personnel onsite to do this. The property was not welcoming, with pool umbrellas on the floor, miscellaneous trash around and generally needing upkeep. Additionally, the property required you to pay extra for “add-ons” such as pool/jacuzzi heating which was not referenced at all upon booking. We also met other dismayed guests who traveled there under the impression they would enjoy a relaxing vacation at this property based in the false description. The description of the type of accomodation/rental this property is NEEDS to be updated to more accurately account for what the Yucca hotel is ran as now. It may have once been a lovely B&B with attentive staff and relaxing accommodations BUT it was not at all that when we arrived. Needless to say, we cancelled our booking. Hotels.com was very helpful in this process and the company who owns the property, Apekrentals.com, accepted our cancellation/refund in a timely manner.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Total scam. This “oasis” and “hidden gem” is no longer owned by the warm and welcoming couple as described in past reviews. It’s now under new management. We arrived to this location (in a terribly unsafe and rundown area by the way) with no staff onsite, just a code to enter a gate and our assigned room. Upon entering the property, it appeared unkept as there was trash and debris throughout the grounds, dirty outdoor furniture, no cushions, broken lights, etc. It was such an eerie vibe and felt completely abandoned. When we entered our room, it was freezing inside (55° and rainy this day) and come to find out the heater/AC unit was broken and did not work. We also pulled back the covers on the bed and there was hair (human and dog) and what appeared to be nail polish or lipstick on the sheets. A few other guests also came during the time we did and were also in a state of confusion and disbelief of where they just arrived to and what they saw. We called the number listed online over and over again, only to reach a maintenance staff member. I told him we would be leaving asap as the conditions were completely false advertising and I’d be requesting a refund. No one from the property has reached out to me since. I booked through Travelocity and they have denied a refund. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip and getaway, turned out to be a complete letdown and disaster. Please, do not waste your time, energy or money by booking here!
