Worth the trip. I imagine it would be less enjoyable if more crowded. Go EARLY in the day, but stop at the viewpoints on the way, because once you get the views from here the others careless impressive.

There were plenty of people here late February mid-week. I imagine it would be less enjoyable in high season due to being more crowded, so go early. Stop at the viewpoints on the way out, because once you see the views from here, the others seem less impressive!

Plenty of parking area (best of the whole rim drive). Interesting interior inside the tower. Adjacent shops and eatery. Best view of the Colorado River from the rim.
