BAD: - cafe / bar / restaurant closed most days. - Breakfast is expensive for the minimal and only ‘okay’ food served. - rooms facing street can suffer from noise (shouting, vomiting, crying) as bars close - rooms get hot. Can only cool with open windows, and given street noise…"

"Parking for the hotel was convenient across the street. The hotel staff was very welcoming. We arrived near sunset and had a lovely dinner in their adjoining restaurant. The room was comfortable and the view was also very nice. We stayed one night. It was very quiet on a national holiday but we walked around and took lots of appealing photos. Attractive location."

We said this was not an option, the manager said tough luck.. no discussion, no refund, his attitude was terrible. We left 65 euros out of pocket. "Overall a nice stay in what I would say is quite a rural area. The staff were really polite and helpful. The only things that I would say would improve a stay at this hotel is a couple of easy wins such a tea/ coffee facilities in the room and a welcome pack explaining check ins/outs, places to eat etc as we soon found out lots of places close in certain days or didn’t serve food for very long (I imagine this is a seasonal thing).
