"I booked a room in the new tower and they gave me a room on the old tower because staff stated they were all booked."

"Hotel is under remodeling, elevators were out of service and our room was in the 4th floor. We had to use the emergency stairs which had no a/c and the temperature in Mexicali was over 100 degrees fahrenheit. The staff at the front desk didn’t even make an effort to apologize for the inconvenience or offer some kind of compensation. The staff in the lobby, security and restaurant on the other hand thanked us for staying, apologized for the inconvenience and invited us to come back once the remodel was completed. If I had known the hotel was under remodeling I would have booked somewhere else. "

I truly appreciate it and it made our Mother’s Day weekend even better. Great hotel amenities and the pool club is a plus. The staff is super nice and attentive.
