“The resort is beautiful and the casita was very well laid out. The only negative about the room was the couch and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. Also, be aware the casitas have several steps going between living room and kitchen; kitchen and bedroom, and then bedroom and bathroom, so be careful of tripping. Also, the web site does state it, but you have to look, during slow season the indoor restaurant is closed, so the only option is the pool bar or driving the golf cart to another...

“Our stay at Sleeping Giant was perfect! The grounds and location are beautiful. The staff are lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed 2 different excursions provided by their concierge service. Josh was wonderful. We biked and swam in the crystal clear river. The restaurants were top notch and accommodated our vegan/celiac-free friend. We got to hear the Howler monkeys right outside our mountain view room!”

“Great location at the north end of San Pedro town. The property was well kept. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay there again. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Resort is right on the beach and a few blocks from the nightlife so it was nice and quiet.”
