“The Algonquin is the reason St.Andrew’s -by-Sea is a resort town. Lots of shops, most still open in winter are great for clothes, jewellery, and eating out. No movie theatres. Found a new and superb restaurant downtown called William’s on Water. Superb chef, fresh ingredients with a menu that changes daily. “Wonderful spot! Charming country lodge feel. Private fenced balcony with hot tub. Very comfortable beds. We appreciated how pet friendly the site is! The hosts even left us fresh coffee beans and a pie! We bought farm fresh eggs for breakfast from a roadside egg stand. All the comforts of home! The beach wasn’t as accessible due to snow but We can’t wait to go back again this summer to scavenge the beach and have a bon fire! Merci”
