"We really enjoyed the lodge. The lady at the front desk could have given us more information about the amenities. I felt like she didn’t want to talk to us. I also wish there was an outdoor pool we would have probably stayed an extra day. Other than that rooms were clean & loved having the trolley take us to town. "

"Check-in was good/quick. Especially given a severe thunderstorm was rolling in and we had to try to get my mobility-impaired dad inside somewhat quickly. Room was awesome and actually handicapped-accessible. Roll in shower was good; be aware water will run out onto the floor and the floor drain (middle of bathroom one) doesn't really drain well so you may want some extra towels or a squee-gee to get rid of all the water that comes out so you don't slip when you get out of the shower. Pool is great! Staff was great!"

"After a few trial stays in other hotels in Deadwood, I’ve finally found the keeper!!! Everything was absolutely perfect!! Awesome room, gorgeous hotel!! We had dinner and breakfast here. Upgraded TVs in both bedrooms with ability to connect to Netflix, etc. skylight in the bathroom, we actually used the hotel shampoo and conditioner…it was that good!! "
