“Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings....

“People in the front desk, they are professional and good guide for us to hVe a great tour. One ride for a day to town (Punda) , good wifi, good pool bar with happy hour, big zaqucci. ”

“The water park onsite was great. Food was readily available through out the day and the buffet was good. However, dinner bookings for the specialty restaurants were filled fast making it difficult to dine at all or any of them. All in all good place to stay.”

“Service is second to none! I've never had a more pleasant stay at any hotel than I did at the Avila Beach Hotel. The two private beaches (lagoons, technically) were perfect for the size and location of the property, and seemed ideal to accommodate the number of guests on-site. The rocks formed a natural barrier against choppier ocean waves and the inlets were just enough to keep the waters calm yet active enough to avoid stagnation. Tiny fish, a crab or two and a couple iguanas can be seen...

“The Kontiki beach resort was so amazing! All the shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away from your room. The food was 10/10. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed on the luxury side and the rooms were so clean! Every day they gave you complementary waters in your room. I would just recommend renting a car to get around to the town and other areas of the island. Taxi and drivers can get very expensive! But whenever I did need a driver the front desk helped call me one. Beautiful...

“Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was not squeaky clean but clean enough. It is an older building so keep that in mind, things won’t be new and modern. I didn’t like that all the windows wouldn’t shut - meaning others could look inside and see me. However I didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the room and there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic outside. The key/door was also a bit tricky but they work which is the main thing. It’s very close to many restaurants/bars and in a walkable...
