“Took my daughter here for a graduation trip. Avila is the oldest hotel on the island, it has history behind it. It was a nice hotel. Very laid back, relaxing environment. The onsite restaurants are just ok. Servers move extremely slow. Although, I found all the food in Curacao to be lackluster. Front desk staff were excellent, very helpful with whatever we needed. Did not rent a car. The taxi app helped us get around. I found that from Avila, the taxis to every place we visited was $20 each...
