“Beautiful property near the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Smaller hotel which is what we like!! Front desk was great to help us with an earlier check out! Only disappointment was room service never came into our room on a Tues-Fri stay. (Of course we never said anything and we could have.) Also, would’ve been nice if ACTUAL or UPDATED hours were posted on the restaurant and bars. You never knew if/when they’d be open. Again, great hotel but definitely had slipped since we were there 2 years ago.”

“Facilities were clean and well kept. WARNING: What you should know is that Dewey Beach is not like Rehoboth. Rehoboth is quiet, but Dewey is for partiers. This particular hotel was filled with college students who treated it like a dorm room. Screaming in the halls until 3am. There are loud clubs across the street. We were up until 3am both nights given the noise and other hotel residents being really loud. If you're not looking to party, would suggest another area. We are exhausted from this...

“I have stayed at the breakers for several years about twice a year. It's convenient to the beach for those early birds who like to watch the sunrise. It's close to the electric charger which I need for my car. It's not far from the main street and restaurants. At the same time, across the street is lake with geese and rabbits. I enjoy watching them. It was pointed out during this trip that there are so many cameras on the property that I felt even more comfortable there. Also, it's never loud....

“Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch...
