“The hotel was in a good position in the city centre with close access to Cabot Circus and fantastic to be issued with free car parking. We had paid more for a larger room, king-size bed and bath robes, slippers etc. The room was large but a bit tired. Stains on the floor, a ripped bed base and the shower head was clogged with scale so we cleaned this and the shower bracket seized but we couldn't fix this so unfortunately water sprayed against the wall but we managed. “Check in is at 3 pm and they will not allow early check in, even though I emailed the hotel and they said since we flew in over night that the front desk could accommodate that. Waited hours trying to stay awake in lobby. Never again”

“Amazing location walkable to the old town of York and Munster church, friendly staff and also close to the train station, spacious room. Only issue was the lack of air flow and/or air conditioning in the room and the very loud noise from the street, otherwise the location makes putting up with the street noise worth it.”
