“My stay at Montenegro Lodge wasn’t without its challenges, albeit very minor ones. On the first day we discovered that the door didn’t lock, so we had limited security. “Lovely sprawling property with some very nice workers. Uneven staff. Poor communication. The restaurant waitstaff were very nice, and Dragan, the head bellman, was particularly observant, attentive and competent. It’s well worth staying at Conte, and we hope to return, but I’d suggest you have personalized check in and parking info and confirm your reservation 24 hours before arrival. Also “a few dozen stairs” truly could be 100+ big stone steps. ”
