“I really want to give our stay a 5 star review bc the place is beautiful with awesome pools and amenities however it is clear there is absolutely no one managing this place. The only staff present are a bartender and chef who comes in on the weekend. There was no one to help us check in and nothing was labeled to know where we were staying. “Older hotel, rooms clean, close to restaurants and ballpark. Staff accommodated a 1st floor request.”

“The property was under renovation on the first floor. The service desk in the lobby area was a table with a computer (It did work). The third floor was dirty, the carpet coming off the floor and trim, there were old patches along the walls. The room was a bare floor with second hand old worn furnishings, tub drain was corroded. The room phone and the TV did not work. Not worth reporting at the time as the general disrepair of the facility. We showered and left. There was a worn "Motel 6"...

“Bed was comfortable. Room looked to have had some type of upgrades but was very dirty, curtain didn’t fully cover the whole window so we used shoes to keep it closed. Had built it electric burners to cook if needed.It’s located near many fast food places so lots of options.”

“This hotel was very outdated. Rust in the bathtub. Mold around the edges of the bathtub and bugs in the bathroom. Breakfast was less than desirable.”

“This place is a DUMP! I didn’t have hot water. They said, “oh old pipes, let it run for a while.” After 30 mins waiting, I took cold showers all weekend. Had to ask for someone to cover the window. No window covering when I got there. Had to go over a cub to get to park in front of my room. Beds were terrible with scratch sheets. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. Say away!!!”

“This location and house are so excellent that it makes the trip. This place is so luxurious that this may as well be the object of our trip. It runs right next to the river, and enables a family to play, relax and explore for hours. We also enjoyed the games, the amenities and the location itself. It is a minor distance away from neighbors and the town, just far enough away for privacy and a feeling of exclusivity. We were so blessed to rent this place, as it was also an excellent Midway point...

“Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need...
