"We were there to attend our daughter’s TCU graduation, and the staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The event planner did a wonderful job transforming the hotel lobby into a fun and festive celebration with a sparkly balloon backdrop, “2026” display for photos, purple bead necklaces, custom TCU cookies, bagged popcorn in TCU’s colors, and refreshing Moxi drinks (which were a great alcohol-free touch). It was all very thoughtful and made the celebration feel extra special for the guests.
I gave 4 stars for cleanliness. Overall, the room was very nice, but when we arrived I noticed a pair of black socks on the floor, a larger snack crumb that I stepped on, and the shower floor was very slippery. Since the room is somewhat dark and the socks blended into the flooring, I can understand how they may have been missed, but it did make me wonder if the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed.
On a positive note, the snack shop was wonderful for late-night needs—offering wine, beer, water, and snacks, which was very convenient. However, there were no utensils, napkins, or paper or plastic cups available either in the room or at the snack store, which would have been helpful since items are purchased there to bring back to the room to heat and or eat."
