Nadine, you will always be in my heart, as well as Sylvere, Mya, William. I could just keep going. Good food in the restaurant for dinners, wonderful breakfasts, and lovely grounds. A short walk to the free zone, which is great for shopping, grabbing some local food, or just walking around. Any day trips that you might want to take can...

“Had a great time staying at the Heaven Hotel! Everyone I met who worked there was super nice and helpful, especially Laurence at the front desk. I went to the restaurant multiple times, and enjoyed the amazing food and wonderful staff. I can't wait to go back! ”

“The property was not as advertised. The place appears a bit run-down and the rooms we stayed in had stained and partially broken toilet seats. We had to urgently make arrangements to secure alternative accommodation for our elderly mothers, which was extremely inconvenient. The hotel employee who was on duty was however very helpful and understanding, which we appreciated very well. He also contacted the hotel manager who was equally understanding and promised to process a refund for the room...

“They are currently shifting to the place across the street, so things are bit haphazard as they make the change. They did switch us to a different room when our key wasnt working. They also worked very hard to accomodate us in other ways. Overall good experience. ”

“The Serena Hotel in Lake Kivu was lovely. We had a great room with a lake view. Since we traveled with a guide we did not use any of the extra guest services but we did take a boat ride out to the Nyamyumbo hot springs which was quite an experience. The opposite of a hotel spa! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel!”
