“Hotel Castello suited me so well as a single traveler. The staff were the best part for me - so nice and accommodating. My poor Italian was not a problem when I had questions for the front desk staff. They helped me to book a boat trip to La Maddalena islands. I had a room facing the road. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels as needed. Breakfast was plentiful. Golfo Aranci town and marina is a short drive away or a 15 minute easy walk. The beach behind the hotel has very soft sand....

“Just before checking in, I happened to see some not so good reviews on Google Maps. At the time, I thought, "Huh?", but it was a complete misgiving. The facility was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the food and service were all satisfactory. They also found a taxi for me to the airport right away. It does feel a little old, but that's part of the charm. I would like to stay here again when I come to Olbia✌️”

“Good parking. Short-ish walk to the main town centre, bars, restaurants and the evening market. Decent options for breakfast, cured meats, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruits, etc. A good range of lunch options, too. Bar service was very good although it did close at 23:00. You need to be in town for drinks any later than that. There is a shuttle bus available to the local beach which is beautiful with crystal clear waters. See photo for the schedule that applied when we visited in Aug '25....

“신혼여행으로 4일 숙박하였습니다. 인포메이션 데스크에 근무중인 마리오네는 천사입니다. 덕분에 즐거운 여행이 더 소중한 추억으로 남았어요. 식당과 은행, 슈퍼 위치 등 잦은 질문에도 친절히 답변해주어 감사했습니다. 호텔은 위치적으로 보트투어 집결장소 근처여서 매우 좋았습니다. 데스크에서 받을 수 있는 지도도 여행에 참고하시면 좋을 것 같구요. 숙소 바로 앞 파란라인에 주차해두었던 렌트카의 사이드미러를 누가 고의적으로 돌려놓고 가서 기분이 썩 좋지는 않았습니다.(그래도 뒤에 주차되어 있던 차의 사이드미러가 박살난 것을 보고 그저 부서져 있지 않았음에 감사했습니다.) 이런 것 보았을 때, 또라이가 한 명 근처에 있는 듯합니다. 단지 우연일수도 있구요.. 그리고 화장실이 조금 좁은 편입니다. 참고하세요! ”

“This hotel was just what we were looking for to take a catamaran trip. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, uphill from the port, which has wonderful restaurants and a superb coffee shop with amazing pastries. We parked onsite and left the car parked for 2 nights never moving it until leaving. The room was 119, spacious with full sea view. Check in & out was so smooth and very clean. We appreciated the exceptional detail and care the older gentleman took in the breakfast area. ”
