“The hotel itself was okay, but the location is quite deserted and isolated, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when booking. “This is an excellent little hotel, that’s uniquely brought to life by its owners. As it’s small, the owners and their staff are way more attentive than would be possible in a large hotel, including giving tips on things to do and where to go to us Malta first timers. Zebbug itself is a small village, but bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Though the streets around the hotel are tight and the bolt/uber drivers we used occasionally struggled to find us. “I stayed 5 night for my academic conference. The location from the airport, accomodation, and breakfast are pretty good. I colud get some bus routes (No.71-73 ) for access to Valletta around 30 minutes.”

“Violet was such an adorable host, she went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional even thou she had a recent surgery and was recovering. Although the property is closer to the airport than Valletta, it is well served by buses which are frequent and reliable. Bolt is also available to go out at night. There's a very good pool to relax after a day of excursions. I can thoroughly recommend Ta Bertu”

“Great space to stay at and room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast served on time every morning in the room and was delicious, great options available to suit everyone. Staff were great and full of information and very helpful when you needed anything. Pool outside was good to have as well, cool you down after a day of exploring in the Malta heat. I rented a car and was able to park fairly close by each night.”

“It was a bit difficult to find but not really a problem since it took me and my friend 2 extra minutes to find the place and the instructions sent where very clear, location was great, room was beautiful and functional. There where bells ringing in the night, from the Church next door - but i did not Find it bothersome. I felt like this stay was the perfect spot to come back too After a long day of sightseeing and the AC was a lifesaver. I recommend!”

“Clint was super-helpful, communicative and hugely accommodating. The room was beautiful and well-maintained, with a fantastic roof terrace. The decor was stunning. Zurrieq is a sleepy little location but came alive during festival - if going in late August make sure you’re ok with fireworks hahaha. Ten minutes by cab from the airport and half an hour from Valletta. Definitely would come back off-season when it’s not hotter than the surface of the sun!”
