"The hotel is comfortable, in working order and in beautiful surroundings, it is however, absolutely not a five star. Our room positioning was great overlooking the harbour, we were on level one but the buffet is level five and reception is six! The rooms were serviced every day but really need more attention - you could write your name in the dust on the bedside cabinets! The showers are old fashioned, you push the shower head into a bracket. Ours would turn sideways due to the water pressure, saturating the bathroom! We did report this and it got better but there was no sign of a proper repair. Breakfast was chaos, the couple of times we went, we were met by a queue of at least twenty people in front of us, so we gave up the rest of the week! There's a notice which encourages guests to go to breakfast earlier as it's quieter, but given we get up early for work the rest of the year, we have no interest in getting up at the crack of dawn just to eat on holiday! They need to do better, reorganise and rethink their timings, so it's not a cattle market at popular times! Similarly with check in, waited far too long! The hotel also charged me £1400 despite being fully paid up through Expedia. Luckily, I'd noticed on my bill a couple of days after and they refunded the same € amount but I was then left £40 short due to the exchange rate. Fortunately, the credit card co are sorting. One Receptionist said yes she's made a mistake, some mistake! The apology was distinctly lacking!"

"Nikolina was very friendly and courteous. Excellent location besides there is a lot of construction around. Rooms are very spacious, poor wi fi and the A/C wasn’t cooling. Good breakfast with lot of variety."

"Enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We didn't get off to a great start when we were unable to use our bathroom facilities due to some work/maintenance on the plumbing. It was 2 hrs before the work was done and it was inconvenient. Otherwise the hotel was very enjoyable. I especially want to note that your concierge had the day off when we needed some assistance with our return and flights and Diego stepped in to help us. Wow! He was fantastic! You should make him a concierge! He was patient, helpful and helped us through a problem with the airline until it was resolved. What an exceptional staff member!!! The location is great and was well sheltered from a sometimes busy and loud St Julians district. I would definitely stay again (minus the plumbing problems!)."

"The room was very good and clean and the room service cleans it every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very fresh and delicious with a-lot of variety. The outdoor pool is great and has an adult area which is quiet and cozy. The beach us awesome with a wonderful view although a bit rocky."

"Our room was lovely. We specifically asked for a quiet room as we heard on some reviews things can be loud due to the club district. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The cleaner staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and there were many vegetarian options. The indoor pool was so fun and nice. The rooftop pool has a gorgeous view of St Julian’s and we spent a lot of time there. It’s conveniently located in the shopping complex so anything you need is here. And if you are looking to party there are a lot of clubs in the area. Overall 10/10. Slay!!"

"The staff was friendly and the rooms were ok but there was a giant construction going on on the other side of the street and the noise was continuous and terrible. We could not relax at all. The area is full of construction and that makes it quite challenging."
