“The Historic inn is amazing place that represents a long bygone era and you can tell the ownership tries to keep it up. The rooms are very clean but the condition is a bit shabby. Things like water damage on the ceiling sheet rock, missing trim rings on sprinklers and old uncomfortable innerspring matress with squeaky springs. I know price is a relevant thing, especially to the area, and this was by far the nicest place within miles but the room was not worth the $500+ per night paid.”

“Great place to stay the night before or night after a camping or backpacking trip in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. Great location, friendly staff and easy access to the ranger station and the trailheads.”

“My family and I stayed for the weekend, The cabin was perfect, clean, comfy beds. They also had a fire pit, grill, and swing to enjoy. Deer that walked the property, especially at dusk. Pool was great, cheap firewood to purchase. There was a local boat rental down the was. $185 for 4 hour on the lake. One Thing Ranch in town where you can tour, pet, and feed Alpacas and Llamas for $25. Local markets and good Bbq in town. Perfect little spot to get away.”

“This is a real sanctuary, hidden I. The Redwood hills. Perfect spot to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. Their sauna is awesome, and so is the temple, where I meditated a few times. Sad to know the property is for sale… go visit while you can!!”

“Amazing! Loft is really cool. Grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The river is beautiful and the wildlife encounters are awesome. We loved Willow Creek and had a great day exploring Eureka. 5-star review. Hope to come back in the Spring. Here for an October birthday and it rained the whole time, but that made it lovely too!”

“No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. No one else complained. he said. ...
