“The pool was really small, but the breakfast was great and the room still felt pretty new.”

“We got in late and then had to leave at 5:30a before breakfast was ready. We me Lou and she was the kindest staff person we met! She invited our kids in to the breakfast area to make themselves waffles for their breakfast and chatted with my husband even though the breakfast area wasn’t open yet. She was a gem and Hampton is lucky to have her! She made our morning and our kids said they would have loved to invite her on our travels for the day! ”

“Well checking in was a joke, the people live in the property that has a dog on it and the house smell like kennel and poop water. The only bathroom the door doesn't shut all the way close but locks. The door you can see thru the crack to the toilet and shower are. Then while shower heard the owner and husband talking about water and then the water got turned off on me. Heard the husband tell her not to do it and she still turned it off. Plus the morning after the first night she got into an...

“The hotel was being rennovated to an extreme that made it difficult. Signage is all on the floors. We were given a different room style than what we reserved (with no discount) that had outlets and blinds that did not work. No sheets or pillows were included for the pull out couch. There was renovation dust all over one wall. It was not disclosed that the pool was closed. There were signs for a vending machine that we were then told doesn't exist.They ran out of food at the free breakfast.”

“Parking and proximitiy to University of South Dakota is incredible. Outside appearance is average, but interior is recently remodled and very clean. Was quiet and peacefull. very little traffic or noise after 9pm. Basic Motel with few aminities, but very clean and priced perfectly for its offerings. Would easily stay again if visiting USD and didnt' plan to spend much time in the room.”
