“We stayed at the annex, called the Shroeder house, 2 doors down the street. It was beautiful on the outside and had a garden and parking in back. Having only 4 rooms, it was nice and quiet. The room itself had a nice fireplace and giant jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed and cable TV. The location cannot be beat. Walkable to lots of stores, restaurants and bars. “Me and my brother had an incredible time here. It was exactly what we were looking for. From the staff, to the property and the room itself. The natures walls close by. It was great and will be returning with more of the family again.”

“The owners are kind of rude who work during the day. But the evening staff is fantastic. Everything is clean. As well the best hot tub in the German Town area. I stayed a couple years ago when no other options were available. I have stayed 2-3 times a year since.”

“The room was very clean. The linens were crisp white clean and plenty of pillows. The pillows were a bit puffy so I used my own... That's just preference. The room had a good size fridge, microwave and the coffee maker was one of those little once that look like a kuerig but you put in a small packet of coffee. I didn't use it. “The hot tub was out of order which was very disappointing. At check in we requested that our son have an adjoining room. He had requested that when he made his reservation. Not only did we not have adjoining rooms but we weren’t even on the same floor. They were able to move next to us the 2nd night but packing up and moving 6 people is a pain.”

“The price was right. The curtains need to cover the entire window and need to be room darkening. Sheets need to be replaced, show ware. Over all it was a good stay.”

“The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was quite good. There were some restaurants for dinner. Our family enjoyed pool and hot tub.”

“The room was clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows were terrible. We were also disappointed in the breakfast selections. The egg selection was gone, the hash browns and sausage were Ok. The decaf coffee was cold. And no hot tub. Not worth the high price we paid.”

“Excellent communication with the property owner, who was not on site. Very responsive. Not the best property for someone with mobility issues. Tight staircase and small shower in the upstairs room. That said, it’s a very charming old property walking distance to everything in town. Easy street parking. Super clean and some interesting reading materials about local history.”

“Showed up at the property and they had canceled my reservation without contacting me to let me know. They had another property in a different town, but the opposite direction. Had to cancel for a refund. Would have been OK if they had contacted me, so I could make other arrangements.”
