"At 3am in the morning couldn’t flush toilet had to move to a room on other side of floor then the elevator wouldn’t go dn to 1st floor spoke to the lady who said she was a mgr wasn’t apologetic at all about none of the situations told me jst put the elevator on hold & the other one would com up to 3rd floor this was after I walked dn 3 flights of steps I was told by the same mgr that she would giv me $25. off per night which I’m waiting to receive so I won’t b stayn at the Country Inn Suites hotel in Princeton WVa any more"

"I checked in and got my room on the third floor. The minute I walked off the elevator, the smell was overwhelming. A very strong musty smell. The room was ok with the smell, but still there. I never check beds when I stay in a hotel, but I checked this one. There were stains on the mattress protector. Lots of hair was also found on the mattress protector. The pillows were yellow with stains. The curtain was ripped and a huge water stain was on the curtain as well. I couldn't stand to stay there. I also took plenty of pictures. I went down to the desk to speak to the manager but they had left for the day. I spoke with the front desk clerk and told her the room was disgusting. She asked if I wanted another room and I just made a face. How would I be comfortable in another room knowing what was in this room. She then offered for me to just check out and I agreed. I found another hotel nearby and was grateful to find a room at the last minute. I would not recommend this place to anyone staying in the area."

"Breakfast was the best of all the Holiday Inns we stayed in the last 4 days. Good tasting and room was clean. Give the hostess a bonus. Placed in room 100, next to lobby. Not good. Could hear late guests arriving. Also, did not appreciate the 0530 wake up call which I did not ask for."

"We paid for a corner room with two queen beds and a sofa roll away bed. When we got to the hotel, the person at the front desk did not provide us with the room we paid for. She was rude and deflecting... An elevator did not work and the stairs could only be accessed from outside the property... There were lack of staff all around... in the front desk, in the breakfast area, in the hallways.... Children played in the swimming pool and went to their rooms without drying themselves... Therefore, the elevators were full of water, nobody showed up to clean... A meeting room in front of the elevators had a dinner reception and the tables were not cleaned for at least 20 hours... We expected more from this hotel and their staff. Not staying there again... "

"Only good thing was a very comfortable bed and bedding . 5 stars … Breakfast ok, standard… Hotel, very dirty , floors, entrance glass, elevator… orange mold in bathroom, never seen anything like it"

"Upon arrival we had another guest inform us that we would need space heaters for our rooms because the entire hotel didn’t have heat. The boiler room went out and it was blowing cold air, we were traveling with a small child. This wasn’t noted in their website nor was it communicated when we called to confirm the reservation. Will not be returning unless absolutely desperate."

"Stayed here for an event over the weekend, arrived late in the night with zero problems checking in, staff was very friendly, room was incredibly clean, and breakfast was delicious. Convenient area, would book again"
