“My stay at River Edge Inn was surprisingly pleasant, considering the low cost of the reservation. The exterior is attractive and clean, nothing fancy. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and check-in was quick and hassle free. My two double room was clean and roomy. The room included a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was a little small but functional and clean. The mattresses aren't anything to write home about, but were comfortable enough. I really liked the picnic...

“Amazing little oasis! Unique home, with cool decor. Missun and Dave are so kinda and welcoming which made us feel so comfortable. You can tell they are loved because all the guests there are now regulars that keep coming back.”

“Great location, quiet even though close to highway, front desk staff very friendly, clean, GREAT PILLOWS, comfy bed! Was here only for 1 night but pleasantly surprised how nice and clean and fairly updated and honestly how spacious this was for a quality inn. Would stay again”

“If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place.”

“Beautiful place great communication really clean really nice and cut”

“Very nice little cottage, quite neighborhood and great location. Host was very friendly, helpful and available when needed. House is cute inside & out, nice beach theme. The bed is very comfortable, the sleeper sofa was found to be uncomfortable. The outside enclosure was very much enjoyed, with the seating, lights & fan. We enjoyed our stay here. We would rent this property again. Perfect cottage for 2.”

“My mom and I stayed June 13th-June 15th. It is in a cute little town with walkable areas. The host was very helpful with check in. Would stay again!”

“The house is much roomier than it appears on the outside. Beautiful quaint little town. Wish the restaurants stayed open later and something to do in the evening. But the house was great! We had a couple fires in the pit while there. Will definately come back.”

“Absolutely charming updated cottage in the heart of Colonial Beach. Spotless, with a screen porch, back patio, and walking distance to river and downtown Colonial Beach. Co-host Kim was welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend! ”

“We had a wonderful time! The house was well designed to feel like a cozy getaway destination. The amenities and scenery were top-notch. This was certainly one of the most hospitable experiences I’ve had in a while.”
