"I started to wonder when I pulled in to the parking lot, because it was after dark. I knew my room was 11 but I wasn’t sure where 11 was. There was really no one there to help me. But, after walking around, I found my room. The room was small, but was very clean. We used to clean for a business, so I know what to look for, and therefore I’m very picky. But there was nothing wrong anywhere. The room looked like it had just been remodeled. The paint looked fresh and floors look new. I was impressed! The swimming pool looked very clean, but it just seemed like the outside could use sprucing up. If you want a nice clean place to stay overnight,like I did,I would recommend it. If you’re taking your family, it might not work because the room was pretty small."

"Nice small clean room decorated very cute. Booked room because it had a pool & found out it was closed all summer. It became a moot point since if had been open the weather wouldn’t have permitted us to use it. But if I’d known I probably wouldn’t have booked it. Shower was really nice. Staff was really friendly."

"Unbelievably clean with a very comfy mattress! The view from our room was crappy (a raggedy house next door), but the smell was fantastic... we were on the other side of a chocolate and ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved out stay at Betsie Riverside Resort! The cabin was so clean! Not just clean for a cabin with a wooden stairway down to river right outside the door, but clean for a nice hotel. The unit was outfitted very efficiently with things like extra blankets, kitchen items etc. The love seat recliner was not new, but it was amazing! The leather so soft and comfy. It was not buggy, so we did not use the screened- in porch of Cabin 6. Very helpful & attentive owners who want your stay to be wonderful. After a cold July night, Chris happily came down and turned on the pilot light, so that we had a bit of heat. That was not in the budget. They struck me as an easy going couple too, considering how much of themselves that they put into making the place so nice and all the details they have addressed. Chris and Misti really know what they are doing. Grocery store nearby down the 2 lane road. Traverse City is great. But driving to see sunset, get pizza, cherry pie and for getting to kayak, bike routes or the the Dunes, I prefer uncrowded, rural Benzonia for base camp. Wish we could have stayed longer and would have if they were not sold out. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
