“Authentic Coaching Inn, with lots of character. Friendly staff, excellent evening meal and fantastic breakfast. Complimented by a very friendly resident cat. Well recommended stop over if going to Stourhea”

“The room and bathroom weren't huge but big enough for a short stay. Good to have aircon as it was 30 degrees out. The view from our room was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The terrace was a great place to sit and have a drink and watch the sunset. Breakfast wasnt buffet style but there was a good choice on the menu. Would definitely stay again.”

“Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. The room needed some tlc. Paintwork very shabby. The bathroom was very poky and not very clean. The toilet had nasty staining in the pan and the...

“Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”

“Very handy independent hotel great for a stop off on the way to Cornwall, just off the M5 but quiet and comfortable. Lots of free parking with EV charging. Friendly staff, good value and really great food and breakfast in the restaurant, highly recommended! The executive room we had was huge!”

“The closeness to the terminal makes the extra expense worthwhile. When we went is was very busy in the restaurant and we were told it would be at least an hour if we wanted food.”
