“This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. “An excellent location for a walking weekend. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy. Check in was good with a friendly welcome. “Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great .
