"Overall, we very much enjoyed our trip to Victoria. The hotel location is ideal and a short walk to most of the places and attractions. We were able to walk to a different coffee shop every morning, and loved all the restaurants that are close by including the shops on Fan Tan Alley. I think it really depends on which unit is booked as some of the units we saw while we’re walking by looked impressive with high ceilings and beams. The unit that we stayed in is a bit stuffier, and when the windows are open, we could hear a lot of the street noise as well as people smoking downstairs. When we first arrived, there was used tissue paper on the carpet. However, it was extremely affordable and the staff were great. An update would make this property amazing."
"comfortable and great value for money in downtown Victoria. Breakfast was at the adjoining restaurant / diner called Ruby, it was generous and service friendly."
"Great spot, kids loved the fish, and the free bike rentals were a nice perk. Only thing we didn't like is that the AC was disabled for "environmental reasons", this should be on the listing. (Tip: check the breaker)"

"Very quaint old hotel. They have definitely tried to update it but it’s pretty bare bones. The large double shower was a nice surprise. Has a kitchen and small fridge but no cutlery or cooking implements included. Really great hotel if you’re only visiting downtown Victoria and walking everywhere. Parking was off site at the Bay Centre and I had to drive around that parking lot to find a space as it’s quite busy most days. Overall, a good stay."
"The rooms are extremely clean and the amenities are top end. Kids love the tub! Staff greeted us warmly and had great recommendations. We had perks like cookies and something special for a bday. And best of all they are accommodating to certain requests we made , thank you!"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rialto Hotel. We slept sounds on comfortable beds and heard not a sound from the noise of music events happening outside. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and the hotel in general was very well kept."
