"I was this time,in a "3××" bedroom. The charging point would not accept my charging cable. Other hotels have exchanged their bedside lamps for ones with charging points. The room felt "tired,". Reception staff were as alert and gsve me the ' standard corporate welcome'. The bar was fairly quiet but it still took 10 mins for my drink to arrive. Breakfast was " hello nice to see you,you know the routine"."

"Full english or continental for breakfast. Really nice and clean rooms and a great setup in the main areas (bar and eatery). And the staff were lovely and friendly. Would suggest you tell newbies they need to tap their room key in the lift, did make me chuckle when I tapped the button to call the lift and the door opened because i couple inside it didn't know how to use it."

"An Absolute Gem—Warm Hospitality at Its Finest!We recently spent a wonderful weekend in Room 4, and I am writing this review specifically to highlight the incredible standards of hospitality and old-fashioned manners that made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the welcome we received from David and Janice was so warm and genuine that it felt like we were catching up with old friends.The customer service here is simply excellent. David and Janice truly cannot do enough for you, and their attentiveness is unmatched. David is a remarkable host—incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, generous with his time, and a true gentleman whose traditional manners are a breath of fresh air.As for the food, the traditional English breakfast is absolutely unbelievable. Janice uses the finest fresh ingredients, including delicious, freshly baked bread that was a highlight of our mornings.Room 4 was a perfect base for the weekend. Combined with immaculate service and hosts who make you feel completely at home, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"My room was very nice and comfortable. It had all what I basically needed, WiFi, TV, iron, microwave, kettle, fridge. Wish the fridge was more cooler. The bed was so comfortable and soft carpet. Lots of cupboard space and decent size table, opening window. Bathroom was good, shower was so relaxing. I wish I could have mix taps or a basin plug which it didn't and shaving was a little awkward with no mixed water. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A couple of nights there was a big disturbance and fight between other guests and too much shouting and screaming, which after two nights disappeared. Behaviour of guests is not the owners fault."
