“Good”

“When I arrived there was hair in the bathroom from the previous person who visited. The room was not cleaned my days there but more of a fix. For example, only thing that was done was emptying trash and fixing my bed. Throughout my entire stay I was not given wash clothes. Only medium and large towels. When I called for towels it took over 30 minutes and I had to call multiple times. When my room was “cleaned” by staff, they took my dirty towels but didn’t replace them leaving me with no towels...

“Great location. Property was very neat and clean. Service staff were very professional and helpful.”

“Positives: Beautiful property. Good food options if you have breakfast included in your package. Lovely pools. Good customer service. Negatives: the bus shuttle was never readily available to take me from my room to the check-in counter or for breakfast. The property is big so the shuttle service should be improved. My air-conditioning was faulty and often times I had to call maintenance to fix it.”

“Service is second to none! I've never had a more pleasant stay at any hotel than I did at the Avila Beach Hotel. The two private beaches (lagoons, technically) were perfect for the size and location of the property, and seemed ideal to accommodate the number of guests on-site. The rocks formed a natural barrier against choppier ocean waves and the inlets were just enough to keep the waters calm yet active enough to avoid stagnation. Tiny fish, a crab or two and a couple iguanas can be seen...

“Grate hotel. Like new. Friendly staff. Good location near to the beach. Fancy restaurants. Close to the capital.”

“I loved everything about this resort. As a solo traveler, it felt extremely safe and everyone was so friendly. The only thing I wish is for the room to have a full length mirror lol. Other than that everything was amazing. Super close to so many restaurants, nightlife, excursions, the beach, etc. Staff were on top of cleaning the rooms as well. I would say I didn’t get the complimentary wine that I was promised but that’s okay.”
