"The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were absolutely superb when I rang re a late check in,also the restaurant that was recommended by the young man on reception was bang on. Breakfast was plentiful, all in all a very good hotel "

"Hotel is in a good location and staff were efficient courteous. Public areas far too warm. Single rooms rather tired and in need of refurbishment. Other rooms spacious and well equipped but rooms overlooking street noisy. Also, rooms too warm and needed to open window to cool as no way to change temperature in room. Breakfast very good, but PLEASE get rid of musak. There is no need and peace and quiet much preferred. I booked 4 rooms for a party of four and I'm responding on behalf of all of us."

"The room was in a good, clean condition however I was put into an adjoining room. Yes the door was locked, however when the gentleman came in at around 10.00 p.m. I thought he was actually in my room as the sound of his voice carried through. Not only that, every time he went to the bathroom, I could literally hear everything! He may as well have been in my room"
