"Great hotel for vacations!!"

"I had a negative experience on the first day of my stay, but the rest of the stay was brilliant. The reception staff rushed through the check-in process and did not inform me about the pool and gym opening hours, so I missed my chance to exercise on the first day. When I later asked both the reception staff and the staff in the gym/pool area, I received conflicting information about the closing time, with a discrepancy of two hours. There were also quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes on the half-board menu, which led to some confusion when my order arrived. Some examples included “chocie” instead of “choice” and “leif” instead of “leaf”. The menu honestly needs to be completely rewritten and properly proofread for grammar and clarity, as it was generally quite difficult to read through. Unfortunately, I also had the chewiest steak I have ever eaten — it was difficult to bite through properly. On top of that, the waiter did not ask whether I wanted fries or roast potatoes and simply assumed I wanted fries, which I actually did not want. As a result, I ended up with a disappointing steak and nothing suitable on the side, which is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel service. However, all of the seafood options, starters, and the breakfast buffet were delicious. On the positive side, the outdoor pool is beautifully maintained, with lovely flowers and relaxing music, while the indoor pool is excellent for swimming. "Room was nice, a little tired though. There is a lot of construction as they are building a new hotel next door. It was quite noisy during the day. Also noisy at night as it’s near to a bay where people are on the beach at all hours. Also you have to use pool at neighbouring hotel, I think this is probably due to maintenance rather than anything else. The drinks at the pool bar hotel next door are really expensive. 2 ice lollies cost 8.80 euros!! "

"Great location with easy bus ride to Valetta and other parts of Malta. Lots of restaurants, supermarket and shops few minutes walk away. The hotel is very nice as one would expect for Hyatt Brand. Staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing with in the restaurant at the top of the hotel with sun streaming in from the glass walls. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The entrance to the hotel is lovely. The rooms are standard. Lack of plugs, usb charging in the telephones which took overnight to charge my phone. Soundproofing wasn't the best either, needed a room change as was woken up at 7am but a constant banging for above our room. Staff was lovely. You have access to the free sundbeds on the beach although, they don't like you taking your own food and drink there as want you to purchase from their bar. Overall ok but didn't think it was worth the price"

"Great hotel, clean and friendly helpful staff. The disability amenities could be improved, the ramps are quite steep but the staff are always happy to assist. I found the shower difficult to access with a wheelchair. Excellent restaurant, great food. Overall I would recommend highly."
