"There was no tub stopper for the tub I had to use my socks."

"We got the last room available, and they told us "no smoking" when we checked in (and I had specifically booked a non smoking room so that was great) but as soon as we opened the door, we immediately smelled cigarette smoke very strongly. I had my 2 young daughters with me and would have asked to switch rooms but we were tired and there were no other rooms. It was very very frustrating that they didn’t tell us at check in that the room had been smoked in, because in that case I would have gone to a different hotel, that is how strong the smell was. Eventually we got used to it but it concerned me especially with having a 6 year old and 3 year old in the room. We also found a dirty shirt in the corner of the room by the window, so clearly the staff did not clean the room that well. The hotel is old and you can tell they have tried to do what they can to modernize it. For me the biggest issue was lack of cleanliness in our room and the fact that we were not notified that a room advertised as "non smoking" had been recently smoked in enough to stink up the whole room. The saving grace was the kind staff at check in and check out. Both ladies were super sweet and helpful. While I would have preferred that we were given that info at check in, the lady was still very kind with my kids and I."

"Staff was amazing. Room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable but the few cable channels that had kids content on it werent working well. Breakfast was pretty decent, there were alot of options but eggs were salty but in the grand scheme of things, salty eggs arent the end of the world. Overall it was an enjoyable visit. "
