“The Lyrath Estate was the best hotel on our Ireland round trip. Everything was perfect. When we arrived in the afternoon a piano player was playing in the very nice, bright wonderful lobby. The breakfast was like the whole estate excellent. We can highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a stay near Kilkenny… ”

“This hotel was very asthetically pleasing, from the grounds, to the rooms, and even the bar! We had a triple room (twin and a double bed), which was compact, but still plenty of room to move around. We appreciated being on the first floor as it was quite warm outside and the rooms do not have AC. We had a lovely dinner in the bar and also enjoyed relaxing on the adjoining patio. Staff was very accommodating and efficient. Location is an easy 15 minute walk into city center, which was a fun area...
