“Thank you very much to the Helyar Arms team for the warm hospitality, we very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and breakfast was nicely varied and had plenty of options for guests with gluten and dairy intolerances as well which is by no means a given. We look forward to returning.”

“Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Bunk beds for children definitely need maintenance. Cleanliness in bathroom and other areas could be better. That said bed linen was very good. In all though, great location and can’t praise staff enough for their friendliness. ”
